Peacock Butterfly Wings Fancy Dress Outfit

One size outfit, consisting of wings and antennae headband

This outfit is from a range of butterfly wings I have designed based on British butterfly species.  The wings are made from 100% polyester and the pattern is attached with hand embroidery.  The headband is in a coordinating colour, has pipe cleaner antennae and is fabric covered.

To achieve the best effect it may be necessary to attach the wings to the centre of the child’s clothing with a safety pin.  The wingspan can be altered in this way also.  The wings will fit a child from the age of about 4 years up to a small adult.  All the Butterfly Wings look best when worn over black or dark brown garments.

This would make a great gift for a little girl and is also suitable as a dance costume when worn over a leotard, because it does not restrict movement.

The wings are best rinsed gently by hand, but should withstand a cool machine wash.  Iron on the lowest setting. 

The outfit comes packaged in a polythene bag with accompanying information on a card.

Unsuitable for Children under three years due to small parts.
